Residents of the Gamedojo make up the foundation of the community, in an environment where ideas, resources, contacts and passion is shared.  The foundation of the Gamedojo is a co-working space providing a collaborative working environment for New Zealand game development studios.  Residents pay a monthly fee to rent a desk and facilities within the Gamedojo.

We have formed a strategic partnership with the award-winning Bizdojo to utilise their national co-working space infrastructure, expertise, and resources.  Bizdojo have an existing presence in Auckland and Wellington and soon Christchurch.  Our intention is that by the end of 2012 the Gamedojo will be represented in each of these centres.

Unlike either general co-working spaces or incubators, the Gamedojo is dedicated to a single industry and therefore the opportunities for meaningful collaboration and synergy are hugely magnified.
