Twice a year the Gamedojo accepts applicants for a 6 month long Y-combinator-style accelerator program that provides small amounts of seed capital ($25k – $50k per team) in exchange for a small holding in the company (5 − 10%). At the end of the 6 month program a “Demo day” provides a forum in which participants can pitch their businesses to investors. The intention is to initiate the first intake in Q1 2012. We will shortly be looking to raise a fund from the investment community to finance the Gamedojo accelerator program.
